This week has been great! transfers were this weekend and im stayin in Lubbock with my same companion! Im so excited about this next transfer we have a lot of investigators that are getting closer and closer to baptism! So im sick again so this email will probably be a shorter one because ya know who really wants to write a long letter while they are sick!
So lets start out with the most awkie lesson in the history of being a missionary! So we went to a members house to teach one of our investigators her friend wasnt there but the sister was and said she wanted to sit in on the lesson we didn't mind at all! So as we are teaching its a pretty good lesson and we invited the investigator to pray about baptism. Then the member was like can I just ask you something? and we said sure! and she started saying that even if the investigator didn't want to get baptized we would pressure her and stuff... so that was awkie but dont worry it gets worse! The member starts a little rant for about 15 minutes with Anti stuff... seriously most awkward lesson of my life!
On the bright side Miranda is doing awesome! She has been reading and praying and knows that it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks cause she knows the gospel brings her happiness and she also knows that baptism by the priesthood is necessary ! The one bad thing is Satan that cheaky bloke is working on her so bad! Every time she trys to do good she says something bad happens.... and boy did it! This week when she texted us and said she knows how important it is for her to come to church so she would be there 100%! well saturday night her husband was driving back from midland and his tire blew out on the freeway so at 2 in the morning she had to pack all her kids up to go help him... she didnt get home till early in the morning so she couldn't come to church, and she even said that Satan was working hard on her but she said she will never loose her faith because she knows that God is there to help her. She is so awesome and has taught me so much about having faith thru trials.
This week I have learned more then ever that a mission is where I am suppose to be and how much it has blessed me to be here. I had a break down the other day when I realized I had less than a year left and after this transfer I will be 1/2 way done! its crazy! well everyone keep reading and praying and just being legit!
