Well this week has been crazy that's for sure! I left my planner at home so I cant really remember what I was going to talk about so this could be fun!

We did me Kyle and Savannah this week. They are pretty awesome! We met him walking back from the store carrying a bunch of beer. While we were talking with him he asked if beer was against our religion and we all kinda just looked at each other and said. your good for right now. The next day we went to his house and taught him and his wife. They have such an amazing story! But he was a little tipsy during the lesson so that was humorous. Then in the closing prayer he asked for lower beer prices right after he asked to know if our message was true. I mean I started laughing in the prayer... I felt bad but I couldn't help myself.

We also had an awesome church tour with Chastity. While we were in the chapel she kept saying she just felt all tingly inside and didn't want to leave. It was so so so amazing! I just love the spirit so much and how it works with different people!

mission=best thing ever.

So funny story of the week. Our head light in our car was out and we went to the District Presidents house for dinner and he said bring that by here tomorrow and I can fix it real quick! Keep in mind this guy is like the ultimate Texan. Mustache, cowboy hat, ranch, truck, accent, weird saying. Everything Texan that man has got! so he tells us to bring it over. Well we did. He looked at it said well what the heck? called a friend we followed him to his friends shop in town. 45 minutes later and 4 cowboys the headlight was fixed! meanwhile they were making all sorts of jokes like " This car was not made by a Texan that's why it doesn't make sense!" it was the best 45 minutes of my week probably.

This week went by too fast. I dont think anything too exciting happened except We finally got my bike fixed then Sis. Kramers broke so a Elder let her use his so we all had bikes for about a day then Sis. Hymas's bike got a hole in it. But we prayed that it would be temporarily fixed and it was for about an hour! So that was an answer to prayer!

Also sunday was District Conference and it was awesome! We had an investigator come named Homer. About 45 minutes into it he asked where the bathroom was. 20 minutes later still not back so we felt a little awkward... well about an hour passed by and we realized this guy totally just ditched out on us! It was so hilarious and awkward! not to mention there were about 20 other missionaries there and each one asked us where he went... way to rub it in guys!

Also you know how sometime Stake Presidents are bullies and call people up during conference to bare their testimony on the spot... well in the District the mission president holds those keys...and a speaker cancelled.... so guess you got called up... this girl! It was a very good opportunity to be able to bare my testimony one last time at church, so it was actually quite a blessing but boy I do not like being put on the spot.

Other than that not much happened this week.... so I guess its not really a shock week.... but hey its all good!

So this week has been.... weird... So lets start off with the funniest thing that has happened in my misison if not my whole entire life!

So we were on foot all week this week which is just always an adventure. So we were walking down the street and we see these nice little pit bulls in a cage so we decided it would be safe to walk on the side walk... well there was one not in the cage that started running at us but he was on a chain so we slowly backed away to relize the chain wasn't connected to anything so as I turn around to walk quickly I look over and it on the road! the dog just looked at her then ran back to the yard. So Kramer gets up Sis. Kramer is booking it and totally face plants im dying laughing and she had pieces of road stuck on her face and in her mouth and her glasses cut her face. dont worry she was laughing too im not a terrible person. meanwhile sis. hymas was well I dont know what she was doing but she was like across the road all ready... anyway it was a picture perfect fall like america's funniest home video style! it was awesome!

On a more mission related note... We have been teaching Christina lately and she is doing awesome. Each lesson is so crazy because her kids are always running around so we have to take turns playing with them so she can listen. But the other day when we were talking she started saying how her whole house feels different when we come over and that her and her husband are getting along better! Its so amazing how the spirit works! even if one person in the house is trying to come closer to Christ everything just get smoother and over all happier!

Then Esai should be getting baptized this week and we are sooooo excited for him! I just love seeing the change in people when they accept the gospel! they are always just so much happier! Oh I just wish everyone could see how much happier they could be! Love the gospel so much I just wanna force people to live it! But thats not the way Heavenly Father wanted it to happen.... His way is much better than mine so I aint complainin!

Anyway everything is going good so far! we dont have a car this week so I should be the size of Victoria Beckham by this time next week! Just kidding probably more of a Tracy from hairspray. either way should be a pretty good week!

So this week just went by so fast! So busy! Im living the missionary dream! We had so many appointments we didn't have time to go finding which I miss a whole lot. I told my comps we need to do it again cause I miss it so much. But its still been a great week! We have been meeting with Esai everyday and everyday he is getting so much closer to the gospel! I love seeing the change in people! Such a blessing for me for sure! 

On a totally none mission related note. I sounded like a complete idiot the other day. So we were buying some water and it was on the bottom of the cart and I couldn't pronounce the name of it so I told the cashier I was like and we have some water I think its called Knee A Gar A? and she just laughed. So I was so confused I got in the car and asked my Sis. Kramer and she was like it says Niagara.... so it was really awkward! Oh another funny story so I was saying the first vision which is always such an amazing experience the last line "Behold this is my beloved son, hear him" Totally said it in like a thick texan accent! it was so awkward! So dont worry Sis. Rose is still awkward the mission didn't change that one :)

Oh I just love the mission so so much! I am so so blessed to be able to be here and serve for a year and a half. Now that im getting closer to coming home I realize how lucky I truley am to be able to do this. And my testimony has grown so so much! I know without a doubt that the Book Of Mormon is true. I have seen it change so many people's lives and also my own! I just love it so so much! I cant explain it but I do!

Well howdy y'all! This has been crazy! WE got transfer calls and im staying in good ol Monahans! Im super excited I dont have to pack again... untill I come home but we wont talk about that one....

Anyway we also did a lot of finding again this week which was super fun! We haven't been able to see a lot of the people we are working with the past few weeks because they "work" I still dont really believe people go out and have normal jobs and not missionary work.. but I guess its their life! anyway...
We were able to see a few of them just for a few minutes this week and they have all been reading the Book Of Mormon! Yolanda is even reading 5 chapters a day! thats more than me!  Its so crazy how much power one little book can have. Oh I just love the Book Of Mormon so so so so much! I have been really trying to read it as much as possible and I have been able to see a big difference in the spirit I have with me as I teach. It really is so so so amazing! I wish I could just force everyone to read it! I know it would change the way the whole world works! In case you cant tell... I love the Book Of Mormon!!!!

In other news I have been getting bored on lunch and dinner breaks lately so I have found some wonderful places to hide in out apartment to scare sister Hymas... I do it everytime she comes out of the bathroom! Of its hilarious! Its gotten to the point that everytime she comes out she looks in the closet around every corner to make sure im not there... and I still find new places! Its hilarious! 

Anyway it was a good week! Thanks everyone for the birthday cards and stuff! I'll try sending pictures next week... the computer is being stupid again :)

Anotha year anotha dolla?

So if I could describe this week in one word it would be miracles! It really has been amazing. We went to a members house and she had one of her friends there that has been interested in the church for a long time. His name is Mondo. He was raised in the catholic church but denounced it because he started to see that things didn't make sense. Mondo has a lot of great questions but they are also a lot of deep questions so we are trying to teach him milk before meat so hopefully he will understand it more. When we taught him the first vision you could tell he felt the spirit super strong and knew it was true but then he was confused cause if it was true Heavenly Father and Christ are two separate beings. So we explained a little bit more about that. We are going to try to commit him to a date this week. We really are so excited about him.
We are also in the finding stage and I have learned that stage of missionary work is where I see the most miracles so I always get excited to go find. My companions think im crazy because I love knocking so much but it really is where you see blessings even if its not directly related to knocking.

So while we were knocking this week this goat pops outta nowhere and starts following us... Now In my head things with horns attack you. So Im terrified... anyway we were walking and this goat followed us a good mile down the road. He would stop and we thought we would loose him then we would hear his creepy little hoofs tapping on the road and we looked back and it was running at us.... I hated it... 

I tried sending a picture but it wouldn't let me. probably for the best we dont want to give y'all nightmares.
